I hope this e-mail finds you enjoying the change of seasons as spring is upon us. We are well into what we believe to be a great year for CHC and our clients.
Today I want to share with you a personal opportunity that I have had the last few months....I was selected to participate in a MN Chamber Leadership program for Minnesota executives. We have done five 2-day sessions around the state, with industry leaders and elected officials to really study and analysis the economy of Minnesota- industry needs, regulations., workforce issues, taxes, incentives, global competition. We looked at health care, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, tourism, financial services...etc. We had access to top executives of some of Minnesota's largest employers and some amazing, steady on-going family businesses. It has been AMAZING!
Main points I have learned: 1) This is a GREAT state to be back as a resident of and business owner in and 2) it is only good for business in my opinion because we have an AMAZINGLY effective and knowledgeable state Chamber. It is SO important to have the business community heard in St. Paul and no organization could do better.
